Mickey Rourke was spotted looking unrecognizable in Los Angeles this week when he took one of his dogs for a walk.
In the images shared by the Daily Mail on Thursday, June 25, Rourke, 73, stepped out in an oversized gray hoodie, mirrored sunglasses and jeans. His face appeared noticeably gaunt and, when he opened his mouth, he appeared to be missing several front teeth.
The Sin City star’s appearance came months after he made headlines when a GoFundMe was started by a woman claiming to be his manager.
The campaign was titled “Help Mickey Rourke Stay in His Home” and was asking for $100,000 in donations to help the Body Heat actor avoid being evicted. However, shortly after the fundraiser was launched, Rourke denied that he played any part in it.

“Somebody set up some kind of foundation or fund for me to donate money like charity, and that’s not me,” he said in an Instagram Reel posted on January 5. “I’d rather, if I needed money, I wouldn’t ask for no [expletive] charity. I’d rather stick a gun up my [expletive] and pull the trigger.”
His manager, Kimberly Hines, later pushed back on Rourke’s claims.
“We said, ‘Mickey, there’s some people that want to help you out,'” she told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published on January 6. “He’s like, ‘OK, great.’ I don’t think he understood, and now it’s taken on this media frenzy, and he flipped out.”
