Shania Twain Mocked by Online Trolls for Wearing ‘Granny Undies’ During Recent Performance

Shania Twain has recently been hitting the stage while opening for Harry Styles, but some critics think the country superstar could dress more appropriately.

In a recent video shared on social media, the “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” singer, 60, showed off her fit figure in a sheer black lace mini dress and thigh high pantyhose. Her undergarments could be seen while she belted out the famous tune, and that was enough to ruffle some feathers online.

“NICE GRANNY UNDIES,” one person fumed on X. “QUIT ITS RUINING WHAT YOU WERE.”

Another person wrote, “Sometimes….ya gotta realize, we’re all getting old and some things just arent appropriate anymore.”

“Why is she in her skivvies? No one wants to see that. She can afford the best and latest in fashion,” a third person wrote. “This trend she and Madonna are going for is gross. Their stylists must hate them.”

There were also plenty of people who also came to the Canada native’s defense saying that she looked “amazing” and “hot.”

However, it doesn’t seem as though Twain is paying any attention to the body shamers. On June 20, she spoke to The Independent about her body as she ages.

“I have a 60-year-old body, but I will walk on the beach in my bikini,” she told the outlet. “I don’t really care if [people] are OK with it or not, right? I don’t have any regrets about most things, but if I’d come out of my timid skin earlier, it would have been much healthier.”
